- Standard USA Pickleball rules apply.
- Round Robin play within groups, with top 2 teams from each group advancing to playoffs.
- Scoring System: Standard point play to 11, win by 2.
- Game Format
- Each match consists of one game to 11 in the round robin.
- Finals are best of three matches to 11, win by 2.
- Tiebreakers for Round Robin:
- Head to Head History
- Point differential
- Total points scored
- Code of Conduct:
- Players must display good sportsmanship.
- No aggressive or unsportsmanlike behavior will be tolerated.
- Equipment Requirements:
- Approved paddles only (in line with USA Pickleball regulations). Participant must bring their own paddle.
- Non-marking court shoes required.
- Court Rules:
- Serve must be underhand and below waist level.
- No volleying in the non-volley zone (kitchen).
- Faults result in loss of serve or point awarded to opponent.
Pickleball Friendship Tournament
Grab your paddle and join us in June for a fun, friendly game of pickleball at the Pickleball Friendship Tournament at Brantford's Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. This doubles tournament, is in partnership with the Pickleball Brantford Club. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player, all skill levels are welcome. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy some friendly competition and connect with fellow Pickleball enthusiasts.
Games are open to those aged 13 and over. Pending how many people register, games may extend to Sunday, June 7, 2026. Registrants will be notified in advance.
Please register each participant individually. While we will do our best to connect solo players with a partner, we cannot guarantee all solo players will be matched. Solo participants are encouraged to register early, as matches are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gymnasium doors open for practice, sign up and warm up's at 8:00 a.m. with games beginning at 9:00 a.m.
