Swimming
We offer a variety of different swims for the entire family. You can view our swim admission requirements at anytime.
In our aquatic centre we offer the following:
- 65m pool (3 ft to 16 ft deep). The pool is kept between 79 degrees to 82 degrees.
- 25m pool (3.5 ft to 11 ft deep). This pool is kept between 80 degrees to 84 degrees.
- Warm water pool (91 to 95 degrees) with benches along the edge
- Hydro therapy pool (95 to 97 degrees) with bubblers, steps and benches along the edge
Pool temperature is checked every 2 hours. Impacts to the temperatures above may occur due to maintenance by adding fresh water, backwashing/cleaning filters, outside pool and air temperatures and changes to pool programming such as swim meets.
Aquatic facility features
- 1m, 3m diving boards are open to the public for some swims.
- The 5m, 7.5m and 10m platforms are available for pre-booked skilled diver rentals only.
- Accessible ramp into the 65m and 25m pools
- 150 ft. waterslide and drop-down pool (temporarily closed for maintenance)
- Basketball hoops in the 65m shallow end
- Small blue slide in 65m shallow end
- Yellow slide in 65m mid-section (temporarily closed)
- Bathing suit spinners in each change area
- Bleachers
- Bubble blower spray and Sprinklers (25m pool only)
- Family, Male and Female change areas
- Life jackets, flutter boards and pool toys to borrow
- Sauna (open during length swim and public swim only)
- Starting blocks are available for clubs and swim meets
- Stationary lift and portable pal lift
