Newly launched PickupHub Brantford offers more ways to enjoy organized sports

Let us organize your next game!

The City of Brantford is excited to offer recreational sports programs through PickupHub. Easily find upcoming games, reserve your spot, and pay securely online. Currently, bookings are not accepted in person or by calling the facility.

Drop-in and enjoy public skating over the winter break

Grab your skates and drop-in for fun over the winter break. All ages can enjoy public skating at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre (254 North Park Street) on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 and Wednesday, December 31, 2025 and Lions Park Arena (20 Edge Street) on Monday, December 29, 2025.

Regular rates apply. Children aged 4 and under are free. CSA Helmets are strongly recommended. The use of skating aids and equipment are not permitted on the ice.

The team at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre would like to wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday season. Please view the following facility hours over the holiday season from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 to January 2, 2026. 

Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve)

• Regular fitness class schedules and pool fitness schedules will be offered from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

• Regular swim schedules will be offered from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre 2025 Thanksgiving weekend schedule changes

The following Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre facility schedule changes will be in place during the upcoming Thanksgiving long weekend from Friday, October 10 to Monday, October 13, 2025.

The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre will be open regular hours on Friday, October 10, Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, 2025.

On Monday, October 13, 2025, the following schedule will be in place:

• Weight Room: closed
• Drop-in Sports: no programs scheduled
• Pools: closed
• Kid Care Plus: closed

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre 2025 Easter weekend schedules

For the public’s information, the following schedule changes will be in place at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre during the upcoming Easter long weekend from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21, 2025. On Friday, April 18 the facility will only be open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.for advanced polling in the gymnasium. The centre will be open with regular hours and schedules on Saturday, April 19 and Monday, April 21.
