Schedule changes for Brantford-County of Brant 2023 Ontario 55+ Summer Games

The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre is pleased to be a venue for the Brantford-County of Brant 2023 Ontario 55+ Summer Games from August 9 to 11, 2023. Please note the following schedule changes that will be in place to accommodate the athletic competitions taking place in the facility. Regular schedules will resume on August 12, 2023.

Tourism Information Desk: open 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition: open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Indoor Track: closed on August 9 at 1:00 p.m. and reopens on August 11 at 5:00 p.m.

Bisons Alumni North Park Sports Complex Outdoor Track: spectators are welcome to view the athletic competitions but the track is closed for free public use.

Land fitness schedules:

All land fitness classes will run as scheduled unless otherwise listed below. You can find fitness schedules online at calendar.waynegretzkysportscentre.ca/FitnessSchedules.

Thursday, August 10:

• 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Yoga class is CANCELLED

Friday, August 11:

• 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Be Fit for Life class is CANCELLED
• 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Yoga class is CANCELLED  

Swimming and pool fitness schedules:

Swims and pool fitness programming will run as scheduled on August 9. The following modified hours will be in effect for August 10 and 11. 

Thursday, August 10:

• 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Hydrotherapy pool
• 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Length Swim (25m pool)
• 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Length Swim (65m mid-section)
• 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Shallow Water Walking
• 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. Aquafit class is CANCELLED
• 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Family Swim Shallow and Warm Water Pool open
• 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Warm Water Workout
• 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Warm Water Workout
• 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Aquafit (25m pool)
• 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Length Swim (25m pool)
• 12:15 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Deep Aquafit is CANCELLED
• 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Public Swim (65m pool)
