Register for Summer Swim Lessons beginning June 18, 2025

Summer Swim Lessons will be offered at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and Woodman Pool (491 Grey Street) in July and August. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Swim lesson schedules are now viewable online at www.Brantford.ca/ACTIVEnet.

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Swim Lessons

New this year, we are offering several swim lesson options to choose from to suit your needs.

• Weekly (July and August) swim lessons begin July 4, 2025, and run once a week for 8-weeks.
• Bi-weekly (July) swim lessons begin on July 7, 2025, and run twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4-weeks.
• Bi-weekly (August) swim lessons begin on August 5, 2025, and run twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays OR Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4-weeks.
• Daily (July) swim lessons begin on July 8, 2025, OR July 22, 2025, and run daily from Tuesday to Friday for 2-weeks.
• Daily (August) swim lessons begin on August 5, 2025, OR August 19, 2025, and run daily from Tuesday to Friday for 2-weeks.

Woodman Pool Swim Lessons 

Woodman Swim Lessons take place outdoors and are offered Tuesday to Friday for two week blocks in July and August. Woodman Pool swim lessons will take place rain or shine. Sometimes a swim lesson session may need to be cancelled in the event of lightening, thunder, or high wind warnings. Cancelled lessons will be rescheduled or a refund for the one swim lesson session will be issued if rescheduling is not possible. You can find detailed information at Brantford.ca/WoodmanSwimLessons.

Register for Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and Woodman Pool Summer Swim Lessons online at www.Brantford.ca/ACTIVEnet or in-person at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Online registration is highly recommended.

To help make the registration process go smoothly, we recommend ensuring your ACTIVEnet account is up-to-date with current credit card information and registrant information. You can also add your preferred lessons to your wish list for easier check-out on the day of registration. Financial Assistance

It's important to us that all children and youth in our community have the chance to access swim lessons. Limited financial assistance is available for children and youth 17 years and under. Swim Lesson Progress Cards will be available to view or print online. No more soggy or lost report cards! Registrants will receive a unique ID number printed on their receipt. This ID number will be required to login to SwimGen.net/search/Brantford to access each swimmers Swim Lesson Progress Card.
