Kid Care now has a whole new look and feel for 2024!

Did you know that the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre offers Kid Care for anyone that needs someone to care for the kids while they enjoy all the facility has to offer? You don't need to be a member to use Kid Care, although Facility Membership holders can use the program as often as they wish for free! New in 2024, caregivers that have a child registered in a Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre program such as Parent and Tot Swim Lessons or Parent and Child Explore Sports, can now take advantage of free Kid Care services for their other child(ren) while they are participating in the program.

For anyone that is familiar with our Kid Care program, it now has a whole new look and feel! We are pleased to share that we have some new exciting elements infused into our Kid Care program this year like dramatic play, messy art adventures, activities to boost fine and gross motor skills, and so much more! Our friendly staff work extra hard to make learning and playing fun. Our lively and bright room is full of toys and books just waiting to spark imaginations, and keep kids smiling and playing their entire visit.

Kids won't want to miss out on our specialized Kid Care Gym Days on Thursday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., excluding July and August. During Kid Care Gym Days, kids can discover a treasure trove of cool and specialized toys, games, sports and activities that will offer endless opportunities for interactive play and physical development in our spacious gymnasium.

Kid Care is the perfect solution if you're looking to participate in a program or class, go for a swim, use our fully-equipped weight room, or even free you up so you can join a sibling in another program, or watch them in swim lessons. Parents must remain in the building while their child is in Kid Care.

Kid Care is offered Monday to Friday from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cost is $7.00 per child, or free for Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Facility Membership holders or for caregivers who are participating with a child in a Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre registered program with another child.
