Celebrate World Wellness Week with free fitness classes

World Wellness Week is September 19 to 21, 2025. To celebrate we are inviting youth and adults aged 13 and older to drop-in to the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre and enjoy a variety of free fitness classes from September 15 to September 21, 2025. All fitness levels are welcome! Registration is not required. Space is limited, so please be sure to arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Register for Fall Swim Lessons beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, online or in-person at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre. Online registration is highly recommended. You're invited to a Waterslide Reopening Celebration

You're invited to celebrate the official reopening of the new 50-foot waterslide at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
Splash in for an afternoon of family-fun including a public swim from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm for a special rate of $2.50 per person, with upbeat music, pool toys and colouring contest. Official remarks will take place in the lobby at 1:45 pm. Attendees can enter a draw to win a free Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre prize pack.

Revised pool schedules will be in place from August 21 to September 5, 2025

The 25-metre pool and Hydrotherapy Pool will be closed from Thursday, August 21, 2025 to Friday, September 5, 2025 for required maintenance and deep cleaning. As a result, the below revised swimming and pool fitness schedules will be in effect. Regular schedules will resume beginning Saturday, September 6.

Step off the mat and into a dynamic fusion of yoga and functional fitness with a special series of pop-up classes offered at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre this August. This series is designed to elevate your yoga practice by integrating props such as dumbbells, resistance bands, stability balls, yoga blocks, and more.
Join us Wednesdays from August 6 to 27, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. This class is free for Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Facility members or regular Facility admission rates
