We've added more swims to our schedules starting September 23, 2024

We are thrilled to share that beginning September 23, 2024 we have added even more swims to our schedule! View additional swims below or view full swim schedules at calendar.waynegretzkysportscentre.ca/SwimSchedules. 

Additional swims on Monday:

• Length Swim from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the 25 metre pool
• Length Swim from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the 25 metre pool 
• Hydrotherapy Pool Drop-in from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Hydrotherapy Pool Drop-in from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

65m pool closure for necessary maintenance September 16 to 22, 2024

The 65 metre pool will be closed for necessary maintenance from Monday, September 16 to Sunday, September 22, 2024. During this closure, the filter will be drained and the steel grates will be replaced along the walkways. The sauna will be closed from September 16 to 22. Please review revised swimming and pool fitness schedules that will be in effect below.

Enjoy free fitness classes to recognize World Wellness Week in September

World Wellness Weekend is September 20 to 22, 2024. Drop-in and enjoy a variety of free fitness classes at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre with our certified instructor Casandra. All fitness levels are welcome! Classes take place in the 2nd floor Fitness Studio.

You must be ages 13 or over to participate. Registration is not required. Please arrive early to avoid disappointment, space is limited.

Fall Swim Lesson registration begins September 18, 2024

Fall Swim Lessons will be offered at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024. View swim lesson schedules beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Brantford.ca/Activenet . 

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre Swim Lessons will be offered once a week for 8-weeks beginning October 7, 2024. You can find detailed information, including Swim Lesson class descriptions at WayneGretzkySportsCentre.ca/SwimLessons.

Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre 2024 Civic Holiday schedule changes

The following schedule changes for the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre will be in effect for the upcoming Civic Holiday on Monday, August 5, 2024. Regular schedules will resume on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

• Arena: open for scheduled rentals
• Brantford and Area Sports Hall of Recognition: open from  9:00 am to 4:00 pm
• Discover Brantford Information Desk: closed
• Indoor Track:  open from 6:30 am to 10:00 pm
• Fitness classes and gymnasium drop-in sports: cancelled
• Kid Care: closed
• Weight Room: open from 11:30 am to 4:00...
