WGSC Civic Holiday Hours 2022

For the public’s information, the following schedule changes will be in place at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre during the upcoming Civic Holiday on Monday, August 1, 2022.
Tourism Information Desk: open 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Indoor Track: 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Fitness and Pool hours:
- 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weight Room open
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Family Swim (65m shallow-end only) and Warm Water Pool open
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Length Swim (25m pool and 65m pool mid-section and deep end only)
2022 Family Day Fun

On Monday, February 21, 2022, get out of the cold and splash in for a public swim on Family Day. Swim times are 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. Registration for the week of February 21 begins at 7:00 a.m. on February 16 at brantford.ca/RecConnect.
Regular swim admission rates apply.
Facility hours on Family Day
- Weight room: 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Indoor track: 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Fitness classes are not offered on Family Day

The hydrotherapy pool reopens February 14, 2022

We are excited to announce the popular hydrotherapy pool will be reopening on Monday, February 14, 2022. The pool temperature is approximately 96 to 98 degrees and offers steps for easy entry, benches and a bubbler (not available during the Warm Water Workout class).
Pre-registration is required for Warm Water Workout pool fitness classes at brantford.ca/RecConnect each Wednesday beginning at 7:00 a.m. for the following week. Drop-in hours is available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Additional services and programs available during Step 3 of the Provincial gradual reopening plan

In accordance with the provincial announcement to safely and gradually reopen, the following changes to City services and programs will go into effect beginning January 31, 2022.
Capacity limits
Residents are reminded to continue to follow physical distancing and face covering public health measures, and adhere to the provincial gathering limits under Step 3 of the Roadmap to Reopen framework as follows:
- Maximum 25 people for outdoor gatherings and organized public events with limited exceptions.
Changes to City services to mitigate community spread of omicron variant concern

In accordance with provincial regulations and new preventative measures announced on December 17, the following changes to City services and programming will go into effect beginning December 19th, 2021:
