Swim Schedule Descriptions

Circle Swim: Swim lanes must be shared with other swimmers.  Lanes are designated for fast, medium, and slow swimmers.  Select a lane compatible with your preferred swimming speed.

Family/Adult Swim: This swim time is open to children and youth when accompanied by an adult at least 16 years of age who participates in the water.  Adults do not have to bring a child during this swim. 

Length Swim: Lap swimming for youth and adults only in designated areas of the pool(s).

Public Swim: This swim is open to all ages.  Non-swimmers aged 10 and under, and all children aged 7 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult or youth, at least 16 years of age, responsible for the direct supervision of the child and actively swimming within arm's reach at all times.  Children ages 7-10 years must be tested to demonstrate their ability to swim 18m uninterrupted in order to be permitted to swim unaccompanied. Waterslide: Riders are required to be 46 inches in height to access the slide.

Aquatic Admission

Requirements for Children

Children 6 years of age or younger:

  • Children MUST be directly supervised by a parent/guardian at least 15 years of age, who is in the water wearing bathing attire, within arm's reach, and able to render immediate assistance. 
  • 1 parent/guardian who is at least 15 years of age may assume responsibility for up to 3 swimmers, requiring direct supervision.

Swim participants between the ages of 7 and 10 years:

  • Will receive a YELLOW wristband.   This wristband indicates that a Facility Swim Test must be performed in the shallow end of the pool. Those who are able to pass the Facility Swim Test will receive a GREEN wristband and are free to swim in any section of the pool.   It is recommended a parent/guardian at least 15 years of age maintain visual contact and remain within the pool enclosure at all times. We will not be enforcing this at this time.
  • Those who are unable to pass the Facility Swim Test will receive a RED wristband and MUST be directly supervised by a parent/guardian at least 15 years of age, who is in the water wearing bathing attire, within arm’s reach, and able to render immediate assistance. 
  • 1 parent/guardian who is at least 15 years of age may assume responsibility for up to 3 swimmers, requiring direct supervision.
  • The ratio of can increase up to 8 swimmers, requiring direct supervision, if all children are wearing a life jacket.

Swim Participants 11-14 years:

  • Lifeguards reserve the right to administer the facility swim test to any swim participants ages 11-14 to verify swim ability for 65m (middle and deep sections) and 25m deep end.
