Arenas and Skating

The Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre features four NHL sized ice rinks. The main arena seats over 1,000 with a press box, rink and indoor track on the second floor. The other three rinks each seat 250 and have radiant seating to keep your bum warm while you watch. You will find the following information in our arenas and skating pages:

New! Roller skating

We now offering roller skating at the arena, until August 16, 2026. Lace up your skates and roll into fun with a live DJ at every skate. All skill levels are welcome. Children under the age of 12 must be with an adult. CSA approved helmets are strongly recommended. Roller skate rentals are not available at this time.

Adult Roller Skate (ages 18+)

Fridays from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Rates:

Age 18 to 54: $4.61 per person
Age 55+: $4.16 per person

All Ages Roller Skate

Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Rates:

Age 4 and under: free
Age 5 to 54: $4.61 per person
Age 55+: $4.61 per person

Roller Skating Safety Rules

For your safety, please abide by the following rules at all times. Thank you!

Always follow the general flow of skaters.

CSA approved helmets and safety gear are strongly recommended.
Do not carry children while skating.
Refrain from horseplay, using extreme speed, racing, skating backwards or performing stunts or tricks.
To avoid collisions, please get up quickly if you have fallen.
Food, drinks, mobile devices and electronics are not permitted on the roller rink.
The use of a stroller, skating aids or other equipment is not allowed on the roller rink.
The use of healies and roller shoes are not permitted.
Roller blades and roller skates are permitted.
